Imagine yourself as the trusted advisor and strategic powerhouse driving the cloud transformation for some of the world's most influential technology companies. In this pivotal role, you will develop deep, collaborative relationships with C-suite executives, IT professionals, and industry luminaries, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their challenges, goals, and long-term vision and translate these insights into compelling business cases that demonstrate the tangible value of cloud. Through interactive workshops and thought leadership, you will empower our partners to simplify complex, legacy business models and unlock new avenues for growth. Your strategic acumen and technical expertise will be instrumental in helping our partners navigate the cloud landscape, accelerate their transformation journeys, and deliver high-impact solutions that redefine the enterprise IT landscape.

But your responsibilities won't stop there. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with AWS sales, marketing, product, and operational teams to develop tailored transformation roadmaps and execute flawless partner engagements. Regularly preparing and presenting business reviews to senior leadership, you will communicate market realities, partner needs, and your strategic recommendations, earning the trust and support of CxO-level stakeholders, both internally and externally. Driven by a passion for innovation and a relentless pursuit of growth, you will also conduct in-depth market research to identify new collaboration opportunities between AWS and our partners, exploring emerging trends, technologies, and customer demands.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop deep, trusted relationships with partner leadership, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their challenges, goals, and long-term vision.

  • Leverage your financial modeling and ROI quantification skills to build compelling business cases that demonstrate the tangible value of cloud migration and transformation.

  • Design and facilitate interactive workshops that drive specific outcomes, such as new service ideation, cost optimization, organizational change management, and the development of profitable AWS service offerings.

  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor and thought leader, sharing industry insights, best practices, and strategic guidance to empower partners and accelerate their cloud journey.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with AWS sales, marketing, product, and operational teams to develop tailored transformation roadmaps and execute flawless partner engagements.

  • Prepare and present business reviews to senior leadership, communicating market realities, partner needs, and strategic recommendations.

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify new collaboration and growth opportunities between AWS and our partners, exploring emerging trends, technologies, and customer demands.

  • Interface with internal leadership and external CxO-level stakeholders, earning their trust and securing executive-level buy-in and support for strategic initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with a proven track record of building strong industry relationships.

  • Expertise in financial modeling, business case development, and quantifying the business value of technology investments.Experience in leading facilitated workshops and guiding organizational transformation, with a focus on change management and driving sustainable outcomes.

  • Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-level executives, IT professionals, and influencers at all levels.

  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies, business models, and the unique requirements of large partner organizations.

  • Ability to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and translate insights into actionable plans.Proven track record of interfacing with CxO-level stakeholders, both internally and externally, and earning their trust and support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience with technology transformation initiatives

  • Experience negotiating software and services agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
