Boston University STUDENT RECORDS FUNCTIONAL ANALYST, Enrollment Services Operations in BOSTON, Massachusetts

Boston University Enrollment Service Operations seeks a Student Records Functional Analyst . This position is responsible for the business and functional analysis of packaged and custom applications used to enable processes supporting over 37,000 student records maintenance. This role works with the Student Records Lead to ensure functional requirements are successfully translated to systems solutions including the definition of data mappings for required integrations. The Student Records Functional Analyst supports the configuration of functionality in the vendor solution, including user interfaces, forms, reports and data integrations. This position reports to the Associate Director for Registrar Systems and is eligible for 2 remote days/week.

The Student Records functional analyst works closely with the Office of the University Registrar, other colleagues within Enrollment Service Operations, and central Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) to ensure accuracy of the student records.

The Student Record Functional Analyst’s primary duties include:

· Resolving incidents, service requests, defects, enhancements, upgrades, patches, and service improvement;

· Documenting processes and workflows;

· Analyzing, testing and releasing applications, components, and integrations pursuant to business, architectural and/or service requests;

· Configuring of functionality in vendor solution, such as user interfaces, forms, reports and data integrations and;

· Testing new functionality, regression testing existing functionality and reports, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing

About the Candidate

A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position. Ideally, we are seeking a candidate who:

· Has 3-5 years of experience

· Demonstrates strong decision making skills

· Is attentive to detail

· Displays strong interpersonal and written communication skills

· Has strong computer and technical skills

Experience with campus solutions is highly preferred, but not required.
