Amazon Supply Chain Planning Manager, Amazon Robotics Supply Chain in Boston, Massachusetts

Description

• Actively support and foster a culture of inclusion.

• Develop demand planning strategies on new and existing products as well as product phase-outs.

• Develop performance metrics and dashboards, drive best practices, and lead process and tool improvements that are aligned with the strategic priorities of the team.

• Monitor, analyze, and communicate the impacts of changes to the demand plan with Supply Chain team partners, including Logistics, Commodity Management, and Purchasing.

• Develop standard operating procedures for demand and supply planning processes and systems for new technology platforms.

• Provide recommendations for operational improvements and identify metrics/KPIs to measure impact.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field

  • 3+ years of supply chain experience

  • Working knowledge of SIOP and ERP/MRP Systems (Oracle/Demantra) or equivalent

  • Proven leadership skills with strong business communication skills to work internally and externally at all levels of management and with peers

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level

  • Proven experience working with analytics tools (SQL, Tableau etc)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience working in a progressive, high growth, high change environment

  • MBA and/or Advanced Degree

  • APICS or Six Sigma Certification

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple stakeholders, responsibilities, and delivering multiple first-of-their-kind programs with aggressive schedules.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $62,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $150,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
