Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all aspects of property maintenance and act as the face of Alexandria for tenants.

  • Organize, run, and track recurring tenant meetings, and follow up with tenants on outstanding meeting items.

  • Direct janitorial, security, and engineering staff as needed.

  • Assist in the management of on-site construction activity, including handling tenant access requests, communicating with tenants about scheduled noisy work, and other tenant updates.

  • Participate in biweekly site operations meetings with building maintenance, security, and cleaning personnel.

  • Assist in planning tenant events.

  • Oversee the implementation of property improvement projects and renovations, ensuring minimal disruption to tenant operations.

  • Participate in the bid process for selecting vendors.

  • Prepare service contracts and purchase orders.

  • Conduct regular inspections of tenant spaces and common areas to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and take appropriate action.

  • Maintain current and complete certificates of insurance for tenants and vendors. Review all limits, coverage types, expirations, and additional insureds for compliance.

  • Send distribution email blasts to tenants, vendors, and construction partners.

  • Special projects/assignments as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Self-motivated, independent individual desired.

  • Client service-oriented attitude.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Desire to pursue a career in the commercial real estate industry.

  • Working knowledge in the field of property management and/or real estate.

  • Experience with billing, budgeting, and facility management systems is a plus.
