TSO work schedules are based on the operational needs of the airport and
may include non-traditional shifts, weekends and holidays. Due to the
nature of the job, virtually no flexibility is offered to accommodate
personal commitments or schedules. TSA does allow one-way trades and
shift trades under the Collective Bargaining Agreement BOS is currently
assessing candidates for full- and part-time positions. Those shifts
are: Full-time: 40 hrs. per week Part-time: 25 hrs. per week consisting
five (5) workdays per week with five (5) hour shifts per day Specific
shifts are assigned after new hires successfully complete their training
and are subject to periodic adjustments to meet changing operational
needs. TSA employees are considered emergency personnel and are expected
to report for duty during inclement weather regardless of state and
local restrictions on travel. SIGN-ON BONUS TSA is offering a sign-on
bonus of up to \$5,000 for this location. \$2,500 after onboarding and
an additional \$2,500 after one year of service. This initiative applies
to TSO new hires that onboard by September 2022
