Job Title: Plant Manager

Job Description

The Plant Manager will drive continuous improvement and optimization of all processes. They will oversee all daily operations of production, manufacturing, receiving, and shipping while ensuring consistent adherence to and implementation of all policies and procedures. The Plant Manager will develop and implement processes that maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop transformation plans to improve plant performance regarding safety, quality, and productivity.

  • Define the plant mission and vision, key goals, and KPIs across the plant organization aligned with enterprise vision and guidance.

  • Dedicate time to training employees based on SOPs and company policies.

  • Audit processes based on SOPs.

  • Develop communication plans to keep employees informed of company results, future goals, and projects.

  • Act as a Lean Leader, embodying company values such as integrity, continuous improvement, accountability, respect for the individual, and excellence in quality and service.

  • Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.

  • Increase production, asset capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.

  • Drive a culture of high performance and accountability in safety, quality, customer service, and cost.

  • Facilitate associate engagement for effective utilization of assets to produce optimal results.

  • Implement strategies aligned with strategic company goals and initiatives, providing a clear sense of direction and focus.

  • Demonstrate a floor presence across all shifts to verify consistent daily run-rate processes and implementation of corrective actions.

  • Build a trusting relationship with all team members through leadership coaching and development.

  • Conduct real-time data analysis to improve performance and eliminate waste.

  • Develop systems and processes that optimize productivity standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets and human capital.

  • Proactively address employee issues to stay ahead of potential problems.

  • Influence and learn from team members at all levels.

  • Stay competitive and current by implementing the latest production management best practices and concepts.

  • Develop and control profits, plans, and budget.

Work Environment

The position is located in a manufacturing facility in Boulder City, NV. Standard business operation hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, although as the Plant Manager, hours may vary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Boulder City, Nevada.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $175000.00/yr.

Company offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible, full-time employees who work 30 or more hours per week. The complete benefits package is briefly summarized in this booklet. Eligibility: If you are an employee who works a minimum of 30 hours per week, you and your dependents are eligible for company benefits on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Elections made now will remain until the next open enrollment unless you or your family members experience a qualifying event. If you experience a qualifying event, you must contact HR within 30 days
