Service Center Technician
In this role, you will be part of our North American Service Center team
located in Louisville, Colorado providing Calibration and Repair services on
the wide range of Vaisala products. You will have an excellent opportunity to
ensure all customer orders are delivered on time and with the highest quality.
This is an on-site position.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed troubleshooting, calibration, and repairs following
established procedures, processes, and operational policies. Work directly
with products and applications used to measure and monitor critical parameters
in environmental and industrial settings.
Complete detailed calibration and repair reports using Salesforce, SAP and
other reporting systems.
Proactively update stakeholders about repair order status.
Review and provide input on work instructions and repair processes along with
supporting new developments and recommend changes to existing processes.
Collaborate with others to resolve product-related customer concerns before or
after delivery.
Assist with controlling inventory and inventory counting.
5S, LEAN and Continual Improvement of the Service Center floor.
General knowledge of soldering and ESD material handling.
This position requires standing, sitting, kneeling, and reaching.
Skills and Knowledge:
Excellent spoken and written English as either primary or secondary language.
Proficient knowledge and use of Vaisala's ERP System (SAP) related to
Calibration and Repair modules.
Basic calibration, troubleshooting and repair knowledge.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to independently work and prioritize schedules as needed.
Hand-on experience assembling, operating, troubleshooting and/or
maintaining electronics, electromechanical, computer, and communications
equipm
Proficient in the calibration and repair activities on multiple
instrumentation parameters or product lines.
Educational Requirements:
Associate degree or a minimum of 2 years work experience in a related field.
ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: $33-$36 per hour ($68,000-$75,000
annually). Salary is determined by the education, experience,
knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity,
and alignment with market data. Additionally, we offer our employees a
