Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic
Location: Brainerd, Minnesota
Pay: $30/hr-$40/hr
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (minimal weekends and overtime)
Work Environment: Hangar
Responsibilities:
· Perform maintenance and repairs on all aircraft systems safely and efficiently.
· Comply with Service Bulletins, Air Worthiness Directives, and FAA regulations.
· Work unsupervised at any time.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Assist with housekeeping duties as assigned.
· Complete other activities and projects as approved by the Director of Maintenance or General Manager.
· Read and understand maintenance manuals.
· Utilize general computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Essential Skills:
· A&P license.
· 3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
· Knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.
· Ability to work unsupervised.
· Basic computer application skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
· General Aviation (GA) experience (Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft).
· Inspection Authorization (IA) experience.
· Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) experience.
· Piston engine overhaul experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
