Job Title: Millwright (IMM)
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Millwright (IMM) where you will be responsible for installing, repairing, assembling, and maintaining plant machinery, equipment, and structures. Your duties will include:
Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints
Working from complex blueprints, shop handbooks, and layouts to determine materials and procedures for maintenance.
You will also be involved in welding, brazing, scraping, soldering, and cutting various types of metals for maintenance repairs and fabrication of new components.
Additional responsibilities include rigging, scaffolding, moving heavy machinery, lubricating machinery, conducting routine maintenance, safety checks, and preparing maintenance reports.
Hard Skills
433A licensed Millwright
Completed FULL Apprenticeship in Canada (Red Seal)
5 years millwright experience in an industrial environment
Welding ticket (nice to have)
Gas fitting ticket (nice to have)
Soft Skills
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
Proficiency in working from complex blueprints and layouts
Experience in welding, brazing, and cutting metals
Skill in rigging and scaffolding
Effective in preparing and submitting maintenance reports

This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Brampton, Ontario.
Work Environment
The plant comprises three different parts:
A general area which is not too hot but on the warmer side
A hot side where bottles are manufactured with hot ovens for blow-molding glass at a fast output, and a cold side for cooling down products, sorting, and quality checking.
The labeling side involves a warm/hot temperature where bottles are printed on and skids are wrapped through a big pallet automated machine. The environment is generally cleaner than expected but can be loud due to machines running.
