The challenge:

Join our Process Instrumentation Support team where you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating and collaborating with colleagues across departments and engaging with our valued customers. We're looking for individuals with strong teamwork skills, exceptional social competence, and the ability to make informed decisions. As a key member of our support team, you'll efficiently address customer inquiries and technical issues, providing expert guidance and assistance through our ticket system. Take charge of our Flow Technology portfolio, overseeing product groups such as SITRANS FM, FC, FX, and FUS inline and clamp-on transmitters and sensors.

Your activity will involve pre-sales support (sales and technical questions before the device is purchased, such as advice on application and configuration, price inquiries, technology to be used or calculations) and after sales support (technical questions after device purchase e.g. help with commissioning or solving operating problems, or maintenance issues).

In addition to these core activities, you will also be responsible for the creation of error reports (technical errors of devices are recorded in Azure DevOps System and forwarded to the colleagues from R&D).

The candidate:

  • University degree in Automation, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent.

  • Process Instrumentation & automation knowledge, infrared & molecular absorption, flame ionization and thermal conductivity knowledge is a plus.

  • Construction material, assembling knowledge.

  • Familiar with automation (PLC and DCS Automation).

  • Flexibility in travelling also for training reasons (in Karlsruhe - DE and Haguenau - FR)

  • Languages Romanian and English - proficient level; German - nice to have.

  • Good interpersonal skills;

  • Self-organized and logical person;

  • Ability to perform a structured fault analysis in a courteous interaction with customers and sales colleagues;

  • Willingness to learn and discover new topics;

  • Oriented towards self-improvement.
