JOB SUMMARY:

The HOA Quality Control Specialist works under direct supervision performing review of various department functions to ensure compliance with department process and procedures have been followed as applicable. May service an expansive and/or diverse array of products/services. Applies working knowledge of technical and professional principles and concepts and in-depth knowledge of team objectives. Understands how assigned duties contribute to the work of the team/unit and how the units coordinate their efforts and resources.

Responsibilities

  • Review activities and related documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with business guidelines and bank policies. Tracks discrepancies and ensures any identified issues are remediated.

  • Requires attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy regarding assigned tasks.

  • Has opportunities to recommend new options to enhance productivity and procedural recommendations related to process improvements; however, comprehensive process decisions are made by management and in accordance with guidelines.

  • Reviews quality results and identifies process gaps and helps determine solutions.

  • Communicates regularly with department Analyst to ensure consistency/quality of processes.

  • Applies working knowledge of team goals; and, impacts the business by ensuring the quality of the tasks or services provided.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position including but not limited to the following: Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Fair Housing Act (FHA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Information Program (CIP), Right to Financial Privacy Act (RFPA, state and federal) and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)

  • Basic knowledge of MS Office products

  • Knowledge of bank core systems, various bank polices and customer contact center procedures

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively to accomplish daily tasks

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Requires tact and diplomacy when exchanging complex or sensitive information with others; is sensitive to audience diversity

  • Required: 1-2 years’ work within Quality Control

  • Preferred: 1-2 years’ in HOA Servicing

  • Required: High School diploma or equivalent

SALARY RANGE: $40,000.00 - 55,000.00 USD; Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
