POSITION TITLE:Area Supervisor

LOCATION:Brenham, Texas

SUMMARY POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This is an entry level position for area supervisors in our Production and Hygienic Departments at Blue Bell Creameries.

This position is hands-on working with equipment and managing personnel on the plant floor.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise team members assigned to the manufacturing line
• Work with plant management, facilities maintenance, and other plant personnel to properly set-up, run, and troubleshoot mechanical operations.
• Prepare documentation and conduct efficiency checks in the manufacturing operation
• Ensure proper food safety procedures are followed (adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors degree (particularly in a relevant field such as agricultural, scientific, etc.)
• Relative working experience with manufacturing or similar industry
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
