Description
If you're a proven Bookkeeper and capable of working on a team, Robert Half has the position for you. If you have worked with accounts payable, accounts receivables, general ledger, and financial reporting, then you may be the right candidate for this Bookkeeper opportunity. This long-term contract position is a great opportunity for a Bookkeeper who wants to work in the Bridgeton, New Jersey area.
What you get to do every single day
Review payments received and record deposits
Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Uphold quality historical records by filing documents
Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Monitor accounts by balancing entries
Manage and review general ledger
Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration preferred
2+ years of as a Bookkeeper preferred
Prior experience using accounting software
Comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping
Deep understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivables
Experience with Microsoft Excel
