Program Coordinator is responsible for overall site management to the program administrative responsibilities, staff scheduling, community engagement, and recruitment.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
* Sets the culture, direction and guidance for programming at each program site
* Schedule and Conduct program schedule and day-to-day operations
* Attends training activities for professional development, participates and tracks referral process
* Establish positive and trusting relationships with staff and community
* Assures communication and interaction between staff and community
* Continually assess youth and family situations and provide the proper ongoing services and resources
* Educate and involve family members or other loved ones in programming when necessary
* Collaborate with outside agencies, as necessary, to ensure viable resources and partnerships
* Record and maintain adequate documentation related to programming
* Maintain neat and organized files, workspace, and overall work environment
* When required, refer youth and families to outside sources or agencies that can better address their specific needs
* Maintain the strictest confidentiality of each participant
* Participates with recruitment and hiring
* Provide staff trainings and attend community meetings as needed
* Participate in weekly supervision and staff meetings
* Assist with outreach efforts
* Performs other related duties, as assigned
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of a Bachelors degree in human services or other related field, Masters degree in counseling or related field preferred
* Minimum of one-year experience working in the human services or counseling field
* Computer literate and proficient in using applicable software
