Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk for our Transport industry operations located in BRIDGEVILLE, Pennsylvania, 15017-2862, United States. The role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will engage in a range of tasks including the processing of customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain and update customer credit records diligently
• Resolve discrepancies in payments and handle invoice related queries
• Collaborate with field terminal staff, operations staff, and finance team to acquire data and produce reports
• Reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis
• Organize and file deposit receipts as invoices are paid
• Prepare invoices using Oracle software and ensure they are mailed to customers
• Post payments to customer accounts and monitor these accounts for any necessary action
• Maintain accounting controls by adhering to established policies and procedures
• Reconcile cash receipts and deposits to maintain accurate records. Requirements • Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and procedures
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel to an advanced level
• Experience in using Oracle for financial management
• Understanding of the transport industry and its financial procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proven problem-solving abilities and initiative
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
