Summary:

A Reporting Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst plays a crucial role in validating the accuracy of new and existing syndicated reporting products for both internal and external stakeholders. As a member of the Visual Analytics team, you will work with the team to understand the Patient Services related data assets and confirm that reporting logic is pulling through accurately into front-end reports while ensuring a consistent look, feel and overall function is maintained.

The Visual Analytics team is responsible for report collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights for business decision-making surrounding internal and client-facing reporting environments (largely PowerBI) for IQVIA’s Patient Support Solutions Organization. The primary responsibility of the team is to support the organization's data-driven strategy by creating, maintaining, and optimizing BI solutions, dashboards, and reports. This role is instrumental in helping businesses make informed decisions, improve operational efficiency, and identify growth opportunities. The core function for this opening will center around QA of the reporting tools as they are built and released.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Assess data gathered from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Perform data analysis to ensure front-end content aligns with back-end data.

  • BI Solution Development: Support the collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand the intended design of the BI projects and reporting tools.

  • Through organized approaches, review BI reports in PowerBI for accuracy and consistency across visualizations, reports, and dashboards that effectively present complex data in a user-friendly manner.

  • Sign-off on Report Generation: Have final sign-off on newly developed standardized and ad-hoc reports for key stakeholders and business units. Ensure timely delivery of reports and proactively identify opportunities for report optimization.

  • Understand Data Modeling: Understand intended data models and data warehouses that support BI initiatives.

  • Business Requirement Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand the data needs and leverage documented requirements to ensure final products meet specifications.

  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of BI solutions and dashboards, ensuring they meet the organization's requirements and are updated in real-time.

  • Data Quality and Governance: Support data quality checks and ensure adherence to data governance and security standards to maintain data integrity.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Power BI (required), Tableau , MicroStrategy, SQL, MSBI, ETL (Extract, Transform , Load) , Excel.

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • 3+ years of related experience required

  • Data analysis skills and advanced skills in using Microsoft software tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access) and SQL.

  • Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of the business, including an understanding of best practices.

  • Knowledge of the methods, tools and techniques, related to one’s functional area.

  • Knowledge of the industry and an understanding of the marketplace.

  • Effective time management and project management skills, including understanding of the appropriate project management tools to increase the effectiveness of projects.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $59,600.00 - $99,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
