Expeditor
Location - this role is fully remote with weekly site visits around the UK
Duration - 6 months
Accountabilities
To work on expediting related activities at the direction of Senior Expeditors and Expediting Supervisor
Providing support the Senior Expeditors and Expediting Supervisor, in terms of data analysis, or data entry into MRP based tracking tool
To assist in preparation of weekly, monthly or ad hoc reports
To manage a small number of contract packages, with the supervision of greater Expediting team
To attend and report contract package status at Expediting Status Review meetings (ESR)
Escalate to the Expediting Supervisor any actual or potential problems which would adversely affect delivery of critical equipment and/or key drawing and data submittal dates
On occasions may be required to undertake field expediting activities him or herself or shadow some of the more experienced members within the team on visits to premise
When representing NNB at manufacturers premises, to and act safely and professionally at all times
Promote a collaborative working environment with internal customers such as Engineering, Materials Management, Purchasing, Commercial Management, Project Controls, MIT, CEIDRE, Logistics, and Asset Management functions
To ensure the continuous and accurate up-dating of the integrated MRP tracking system
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Demonstrable track record of collaborative working within successful project teams
Flexibility to travel as and when necessary to meet the needs of NNB Gen Co Ltd
Previous experience on Capital Works projects for Process Plants, preferably from Power, Chemical or Oil and Gas industries
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to clearly and concisely get their point across
