Job Description:The Nursing Graduate works under direct line-of-sight
supervision of the Registered Nurse in the clinical setting and participates
appropriately in the patient care delivery process. The incumbent also orients
to the RN assignment, excluding independent nursing care. This position may
participate in medication administration under the direction and supervision
of the licensed RN.

a combination of unit-based learning with a preceptor and classroom-based

Various units are participating in this program. Shifts available will vary
based on the unit needs. More information on the shifts and units available
will be given during the interview process.

As a RN you need to know how to:
Recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs
Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of
patients and their families in mind
Assess a patients' medical status upon admission
Assist in developing individualized treatment plans
Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines
Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs
Your experience.
We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why
we require:
ASN / ADN from an accredited program with the abil ty to obtain your BSN
from an accredited program within four (4) years of hire unless you
possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of proven continuous Registered
Nurse experience in an acute care setting, required
Current Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain
Colorado RN license, required
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification endorsed by the American
Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire
(with prior approval), required (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for
unit or service), NIHSS (stroke certification) which can be obtained
upon hire.
Physical Requirements:Ongoing need for employee to see and read
information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify
equipment and supplies.- and -Frequent interactions with patient care
providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally
communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms,
needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency
situations.- and -Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex
and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent
computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed
information, medication preparation, etc.- and -Expected to lift and
utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to
