Are you interested in work with cloud technologies?
We're looking for a engineer to join our team to help us extend our Infrastructure DNS/Routing team at Oracle-NetSuite in Brno. Being part of our team will give you an opportunity to have a direct and significant impact on the quality of our final product and the pace of delivery. Close cooperation with developers and test engineers from our team, and also other teams across the organisation, will be on a daily basis. In this role, your responsibilities will include investigating performance of both services and codebase. You will be part of implementation of verification cases and procedures to assure proper functionality and best possible quality of our services. You will help us modernize and improve robustness and performance of the overall product.
In this role you will:
Work with latest industry technologies
Collaborate with one of leading cloud providers - OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and gain hands-on experience with technologies they provide
Be part of new service environment builds and help on automation of the process
Cooperate on analysis and implementation related to adoption of new DNS solution
Leverage fast and flexible release cycle
Master analysis of globally distributed data
Enhance service monitoring and reporting
Ensure test-ability of everything you do
What we require:
Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (graduated within last 12 months or studies in progress)
Experience with python, bash
Open mind for discussions and team collaboration
Good writing and verbal communication skills in English are required
Basic knowledge of Linux OS, DNS protocol
Willingness to learn
Nice to have:
Understanding of cloud-based distributed software applications
Experience with yaml, salt, BIND DNS server
Experience with Java (or similar OOP language)
Hands-on experience with test automation and CI/CD - familiarity with TeamCity, GitLab and the like
