Your Role Mission: Are you a full-time undergraduate or graduate student majoring in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field? Power Technique North America (a company within the Atlas Copco Group) is seeking an undergraduate or graduate student to join our team during Summer, 2024 as a full-time, PAID intern. Roles and Responsibilities: As an Inventory Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our inventory management team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in inventory control, data analysis, and supply chain management within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Inventory Intern will work closely with the inventory manager and team members to ensure accurate recording, tracking, and optimization of inventory levels. The person selected for this internship will also: Assist with inventory management - Stock counts, process returns Order processing - placing parts orders for jobs with the NSC Track orders for delivery. File tickets for updates. Transportation coordination - Assist with scheduling equipment moves to and from the service center. Warehouse support - organize inventory. Organize parts for work waiting to be assigned. Assist in loading and unloading freight trucks. Data entry - receive parts orders on the jobs to show received. Assist in finding parts from local suppliers, picking up if required. Work with other team members to ensure smooth operations. Assist with other projects as required. To succeed, you will need Education: * To qualify for this internship, you should be: - a rising junior, senior or graduate student at an accredited college or university - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 - eligible to work within the United States without Company support for work authorization - able to provide your own housing for the 10 weeks of the internship program * Able to commit to participation in a full-time, 10-week internship program working up to 40 hours per week starting on Monday, June 5, 2024, and continuing until Friday, August 11, 2024. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights. Experience: Experience gained through a previous relevant internship is preferred, but not required. Experience with Excel and/or SAP is a plus. Experience operating a forklift is a plus. Skills: * Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college, university or technical/vocational institution. * Eligible to work in the United States without company assistance. * Majoring in an area of study related to the position. * Have a minimum GPA of 3.0. * Possess strong written & verbal
