NATURE AND SCOPE This position reports to the Branch Manager or
Assistant Branch Manager. Responsible for assisting members with their
financial needs while providing exceptional member service. Accepts and
inputs loan applications; and assists members in completing the loan
process and helping to obtain the required documentation. Opens deposit
product accounts and takes applications for all non-real estate credit
products. Supports the overall functions of the branch. REQUIREMENTS 1.
High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years of
customer service or sales experience preferably within a financial
institution. A combination of education and experience will also be
considered. 2. Prior teller or lending experience preferred. 3.
Demonstrated ability to understand and explain credit bureau reports,
liaise with members in satisfying loan stipulations, schedule closings
and process loan documents. 4. Demonstrated ability in understanding and
recommending appropriate deposit and loan products based on member need.
5. Demonstrated ability in providing excellent customer service. 6.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving
skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently. 7.
Ability to use independent judgment and discretion in various situations
while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality. 8. Must have or be
able to attain National Mortgage Licensing System registration (NMLS#).
9. Must have a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures
as they relate to this position. 10. Must understand and comply with all
job-related state and federal laws and regulations. PRINCIPAL
ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Works loan pipelines, understands loan documentation
and follows through to obtain all required documentation from members.
2. Provides solutions to members regarding financial products and
