and your efforts are recognized. Key Responsibilities Sales Tax Filing:
Prepare and file accurate sales tax returns for multiple jurisdictions
on time. Monitor filing schedules and deadlines to ensure compliance
with all relevant regulations. Documentation & Record Management:
Maintain organized records of sales tax exemptions, certificates, and
returns. Create invoices, credit memos, and adjustments to resolve
discrepancies quickly. Research & Compliance: Stay up to date with
current tax laws, rates, and multi-jurisdictional compliance
requirements. Investigate and resolve tax-related discrepancies to
ensure accurate reporting. Audit & Reporting Support: Assist with
gathering documentation for sales tax audits. Respond to inquiries from
tax authorities and auditors in a timely and professional manner.
Customer and Internal Department Support: Address customer inquiries
related to tax charges and exemptions. Collaborate with internal teams
to provide accurate tax documentation and advice. What We\'re Looking
For Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Associate\'s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
(preferred). Experience: Previous experience in a tax, accounting, or
administrative role is preferred. Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional
tax filing is a plus. Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft
Office, especially Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle
multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Clear and professional written
and verbal communication. Ability to collaborate across departments and
support company goals. Bonus if you have: Knowledge of lean business
