Communicate directly with the president/owner of our parent company, and C-level executives in Japan regarding all US matters, providing them with reports and activity summaries in Japanese. Process intel about new products being introduced in Japan from staff in Japan, and strategize on how to roll out to US Markets. Accountable for all performance indicators of the business that have an impact on management including profit and loss, balance sheet, sales targets, progress and results, sales price, purchase price, profit margin, and other costs. Direct and manage the work of our certified public accountant and accounting consultant. Develop, execute, and analyze strategies to spread brand awareness in the American market. Develop and manage marketing plans including exhibits at trade shows and online stores. Direct and manage the work of a service company that provides specialized services in our brand strategies and account management in the Amazon Marketplace, where we sell products. Plan and execute any actions necessary to improve operational efficiency. Responsible for human resources management including hiring, firing, job assignment, training, as well as managing and supervising the work of all employees. Set employee work goals, tracks progress, and evaluate their performance. Determine corporate policy and regulations with regard to the types of products marketed to U.S. customers, corporate product website maintenance, product pricing, receivables, customer lines of credit, and cash flow. Determine the volume of each product line the company will maintain on hand. Maintain responsibility for the quality and quantity of goods being ordered and delivered. Investigate trends, practices, and techniques in the industry and evaluate their adaptability into the company’s operations. Ensure distribution channels are efficiently maximized. Liaise and communicate with foreign manufacturers and exclusive suppliers in Japan for production, warehousing, and manufacturing needs. Manage and oversee product inventory, pricing, and ordering. International and/or domestic travel may be required. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent followed by five years of progressive experience in the specialty field. Experience must include managing sales and marketing activities for consumer products. Japanese language required.
