The Senior Procurement Manager, Packaging (BRAVO) North America
(NORAM) is part of the One Direct team, reporting to the Category
Procurement Director, Paper and Flexibles of North America. Main activity
for this role is to lead the transformation of Danone's paper and flexibles
packaging, managing and enabling data driven strategic cross-functional
projects with the ultimate goal of developing a fit for purpose packaging
design and sourcing strategy that will secure productivity for the United
States and Canadian businesses.
About the Job:
The position will:
Design and implement category strategies utilizing various value levers that
deliver improved cost and more efficient processes and solutions.
Drive the strategic direction for productivity initiatives tied to direct
material procurement with particular focus on secondary packaging.
Work cross-functionally with Project Management, R&I, Quality, and
Brand/Marketing to gain "buy-in" and implement transformational solutions.
Collaborate across other direct material categories to enable opportunities
that can deliver innovation and efficiency.
Present project updates and proposed direction at various leadership levels.
Synthesize diverse ideas, facts, and data into a cohesive analysis and
business cases to support business recommendations and influence
cross-functional stakeholders.
Lead Business Continuity reporting for all Direct Material categories and
support teams in ensuring robust BCP's are documented.
Sustainability lead for Paper and flexibles.
Job positioning:
Reporting hierarchically to the Category Procurement Director, Paper and
Flexibles.
Engagement of key stakeholders: R&I, Marketing, Sales, Supply
Chain, Manufacturing, Finance across CBUs (US and Canada) and suppliers.
The position is based in either Broomfield, CO, or White Plains, NY, US.
The base compensation range for this position is
$109,000-164,000commensurate with experience. Danone North America

Business, packaging or Engineering MS or Bachelor's degree.
5 plus years in direct materials procurement (food industry sourcing a plus)
Strong analytical skills
Strong presentation building, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
Driven personality pursuing to compliance, alignment & standardization
Highly organized and systematic
Strong communication skills with business background
Proven skills in both written and verbal communication, influencing and
stakeholder management
Ability to perform within a complex and "fast-paced" environment
Understanding of the paper and resin business and markets
Strong knowledge and experience in Purchasing Category Management
Team player, pragmatic, proven ability to lead and take ownership
Curious, entrepreneurial spirit and self-driven
Strong interpersonal skills
High proficiency in Microsoft applications with particular focus on Excel and
PowerPoint
