Pay rate: $45 - $55.

We are seeking an ES&H Representative to join their team at their Rio Grande project at Brownsville, Texas. This role will integrate safety and health requirements into project planning, design, and operations to mitigate risks and enhance workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in executing the safety component of the ES&H program, including technical and administrative functions.

  • Develop and implement Safety and Health Management Plans, training programs, and related procedures.

  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, procurement, and subcontracting teams to ensure safety measures are incorporated into project execution.

  • Conduct safety inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments while ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, industrial engineering, public health, or a related field, with 5-8 years of experience; or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.

  • Strong knowledge of safety management programs, laws, and regulations, as well as engineering and construction work processes.

  • Expertise in safety disciplines such as PPE, fall protection, lockout/tagout, or excavation safety.

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Brownsville, TX. Local hires within the Rio Grande Valley area are preferred.
