Job Description
The General Laborer performs a wide range of manual tasks, including site preparation, material handling, operating basic tools and machinery, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare construction sites for work, including clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
Handle and transport materials to designated areas efficiently.
Operate basic tools and machinery as required for various tasks.
Ensure the work environment remains clean and safe at all times.
Assist carpentry tasks and other construction-related activities.
Essential Skills
General labor experience
Proficiency in construction tasks
Experience with hand tools
Basic carpentry skills
Ability to handle loading and unloading tasks
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to perform heavy lifting
Experience in material handling
Knowledge of construction site clean-up procedures

Work Environment
The work environment is outdoors on a construction site. The crew consists of about 5 members, reporting to a Superintendent on site. The day shift starts at 6:45 am, working 12-hour days, 5-6 days per week (Monday-Saturday). The night shift runs from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.

This is a Contract position based out of Odessa, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
