Nestle Senior Quality, Safety & Health Specialist in Bucharest, Romania

Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, analytical, and proactive, person to join our Nespresso Team in the position of Senior Quality, Safety & Health Specialist .

A day in the life of Senior Quality, Safety & Health Specialist

Safety, Health and Environment (SHE):

  • Conduct SH program, training, events / Promote SH systems integration.

  • Implement Recycling & Sustainability strategy in the market in accordance with HQ/Supply chain/legal including: Boutiques, Boutique-Bar, Point of Sales, Events, Service Partners, Warehouses and Offices.

  • Support the Nespresso Capusles Recycling process in order to assure collection capacity at 100%

  • Support reduction of CO² emission through ecological responsible actions throughout the company.

  • Recycling operational support, co-management of external partners, ensure system setup, efficiency and sustainability

Nespresso Quality Management System:

  • Participates in, and supports TQM regarding internal audits

  • Performs QSHE Assessments in BTQs, ASC, 3PL & Demo Agency and other key suppliers as necessary

  • Manage CAPA, and provides continuous feedback to TQM, in order to ensure continuous improvement

  • Provide necessary services to ensure Quality/ SHE / Technical in all departments

Drive cross functional alignment:

  • Implement corporate SHE & TQM vision and strategy to support commercial objectives in the market

  • Contribute towards and support the roll out of corporate initiatives/ projects

  • Supports strategic initiatives leading to continuous improvement in SHE performance in line with the Nestlé Continuous Excellence mindset.

  • He/She contributes as well to After Sales projects aimed to improve the Club services offer by supporting the external repair center and courier partners.

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Contribute to overall customer satisfaction in the market by supporting complaint reduction actions

  • Participate in projects enhancing environmental and after sales programs

  • Evaluate systematically the external Customer/Consumer Quality expectations.

Risk assessment, root cause analysis and action planning:

  • Monitor performance in the Nespresso market for opportunities to improve in the quest for zero defect.

  • Support the implementation in departments of Business Continuity Plans for their major activities

Compliance:

  • Support TQM regarding compliance of machines, coffee and accessories sold within the Nespresso market.

  • Ensure adherence to company principles, policies and requirements and local laws / regulations including SHE

  • Support audits in Supply Chain to keep quality related processes and assure that food safety is kept

What will make you successful?

  • University degree or equivalent (preferred Technical, Food Technology, Science or Engineering)

  • 2-3 years relevant experience in Quality Assessment & Quality Control

  • Skills in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams and with external stakeholders

  • Capability to lead projects and change management

  • Management capability including ability to lead, coach, engage and influence.

  • Excellent knowledge of English language, both written and spoken and you are advanced user of MS Office package (advanced Excel and PowerPoint)
