Proposals Specialist
Responsibilities and duties
Receives and distributes ITTs, RFQ, RFP to all internal stakeholders and creates response template (Word, XaitPorter-proposal software).
Sets up Kick-off, review meetings to track progress and coordinates the bid process, including clarifications during/post tender.
Utilizes specialized technical and/or costing knowledge of company services in analyzing job requirements.
Must be familiar with general proposal principles such as proposal terminology, teaming strategies, pricing models, and methods of analyzing competition.
Provides technical and costing information for review by senior management.
Ensures compliance and promote company business development policies and objectives throughout the bidding process.
Responsible for compiling, formatting, submitting compelling proposals to potential and/or existing customers.
Constructs and maintains appropriate proposal standard information utilized in bid submittals and communicates information throughout the company.
Assists Business Development Manager with marketing and sales strategy objectives.
Attends Bid openings and visits with customers as required.
Assists Business Development Manager with coordinating uniformity of proposed pricing and evaluate and analyze submitted pricing assumptions for accuracy and document for consolidation in final proposal document.
Maintains electronic database to efficiently communicate and respond to a variety of requests from various professional and management levels pertaining to proposal criteria and outcomes.
Public tenders experience preferred.
Oversees the life cycle of contract approval, storing, implementation and extension.
Acts as principal liaison between legal, sales, environmental, health and safety & operations to facilitate accurate and competitive proposals.
Participates in and potentially manage special ad hoc projects related to contracting and proposals.
Other duties as assigned.
