Paramount Manager, Internal Audit in Budapest, Hungary

Join Paramount as a Manager ! You'll assist in planning and conducting audit fieldwork and special projects across the company, evaluating internal controls and operations, and developing solutions to mitigate risk while promoting best practices. Travel domestically and internationally, work closely with the Director, and drive continuous value across the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning individual audits and developing engagement objectives.

  • Lead discussions with business units to identify and document controls.

  • Perform detailed operational and strategic analyses.

  • Conduct complex data analyses using ACL, including fraud detection techniques.

  • Collaborate with the data analytics team to generate business insights.

  • Document audit fieldwork and draft comments for audit reports.

  • Provide guidance on complex controls testing and troubleshoot issues.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities.

  • Prepare and present audit findings to division management.

  • Draft audit reports and updates as needed.

  • Coach and review the work of junior auditors.

  • Ensure productivity and efficiency during each audit phase.

  • Provide operational and administrative support to the Director/VP.

  • Develop strong professional relationships with divisional management and process owners.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit, internal audit services, and/or public accounting, including supervisory experience. Entertainment industry experience is a plus.

  • A BA or BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or an equivalent field.

  • Professional certification (CIA, CPA, Chartered Accountant, CISA, or equivalent).

  • Strong understanding of division operating practices and management concerns.

  • Ability to manage people and possess strong team-building skills.

  • Basic project management skills.

  • Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with financial application software (e.g., SAP, PeopleSoft).

  • Excellent research and information synthesis skills.

  • Flexible, resourceful, and business-driven.

  • Willingness to travel 20-25% domestically and internationally.
