Job Description
Albemarle seeks a talented Master Data Governance Manager to join its Master Data Management team within Global Business Services. This position is part of a Master Data team that is geographically dispersed and collaborates with Data partners to build and operate sustainable processes and services to deliver trusted quality Master Data fit for business processes and reporting. We are a global operation with regional presence and seek to collectively care and sustain the Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance Master Data for which we are responsible in systems including SAP, TM, Salesforce, and Workday.
The Master Data Governance Manager is responsible to support the Master Data Management (MDM) roadmap through work on initiatives to support our master data governance processes and operations, collaboration with Information Technology (IT) partners to remediate, enhance, and deploy technical solutions, and participation on cross functional projects, all with the intention to improve data integrity and reliability. This leader will be a process expert for our master data domains and data management solutions in combination with understanding of supporting business processes.

Functional
Responsible to define and oversee domain specific Data Governance models to meet commitment for reliable, high-quality data aided by tools, systems, and processes for ongoing monitoring of data health
Develop key performance indicators for meaningful data quality and process measurement to achieve ongoing continuous improvement through effective analysis and corrective actions
Collaborates with IT partners to develop solutions accomplished through a core knowledge of the daily operations and governance processes, combined with basic technical understanding of our solutions
Build and maintain constructive working relationships with data partners and other functions to meet mutual goals and objectives
Engage with business functions and leadership to identify existing gaps or control weaknesses with master data processes and track issues, while providing subject matter expertise in support of remediation
Good steward of our people, processes, and technology, leveraging all for maximum value and benefit
Able to successfully implement new and improved processes, ensuring resources needed while addressing roadblocks for the team
Prioritize the needs of our Partners to support their strategy and deliverables
Member of Cross-Functional project teams able to represent master data process expertise, while translating information and requirements for follow up, solutions, and changes in Master Data and Master Data processes
Work collaboratively with Master Data Operations to implement process and data improvements based on analytics and trends from data governance evaluations based on shared responsibility for high quality data
Effective and consistent use of Management of Change processes and tools to anticipate impacts, develop communication plans, along with training and documentation to ensure successful transitions
Maintain dynamic process and training documentation
Contribute to any other tasks delegated by the Master Data Management Leader

What You Bring
Required:
College or University degree
Prior Master Data Management experience
5 - 6 years of experience in Master Data, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or IT
SAP S4 experience
Fluent in English
