Job Description
Collaborate and build trusted partnership with global procurement & category management organizations as an advisor and SME, to drive both process and technology improvements, projects in the Source-to-Contract process area. Identify project & improvement opportunities using metrics, improve efficiencies related to productivity and KPI-s using lean principles and general CI tools; actively participate in global strategy making for Sourcing and Contracting, lead all main endeavours as the workstream leader for Source-to-Contract and own complex global strategic supply chain initiatives as well as enterprise growth initiatives. Support growth via proactively seeking waste elimination, represent CI culture as a role model; interreact with VP and executive level stakeholders and influence them towards achieving vision. Assume the role of a functional expert (SME) for both process and technology but be prepared to act as a senior project manager for top-down initiatives (PM skills). Proactively govern strategy on Sourcing and Contracting; coordinate other SME-s within the team without direct leadership.
What You Will Do
Represent the Source-to-Contract process area on cross-functional meetings as a key decision maker and strategy creator; work with the global procurement leadership team to identify strategic direction, take ownership over project opportunities, drive improvement as an SME (or coordinate other SME-s as a leader) and address legal/technology changes; exercise networking in order to explore wastes in existing processes: organize routine meetings/brainstorming events with global leaders to collect process gaps and improvement ideas (gemba walks); participate on lean projects as project team member in case the initiative is on growth enablement/governance
Monitor process incidents and exceptions via exercising hypercare/project control and define corrective actions through invoking management of process change; prepare measurement & analysis for decisions on process/technology changes; build roadmap and program plan proposals; support technology changes as a functional expert during development and UAT; actively participate in knowledge retention for Sourcing and Contracting as the custodian for knowledge and arrange policies and procedur
Collaborate and coordinate other SME-s within the team; exercise leadership without authority
What You Bring
7+ years of experience in Sourcing / Contracting; at least 3 years’ experience in Category Management or equivalent roles in Sourcing / Contracting
3+ years of process improvement / project management / process governance experience
E2E expertise over Source-to-Contract and downstream Purchasing workstreams
Proficiency over CI, complex improvement projects and technology deployments led in the past
Ariba technology expertise!
Seniority, leadership presence
Ability to present ideas and information in a clear, concise, and organized manner
Data driven, strategic thinking
Knowledge on Six Sigma, Lean or any other process improvement area is a great advantage
Confident, fluent English is a must – most stakeholders are in the US!
