Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Marketing Data Engineer to join our in-house creative studio, HP Studio. The primary responsibility of this role is to consolidate source information, including copy and image links, into a comprehensive spreadsheet to enable automated asset creation at scale. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand and execute on marketing briefs to determine the required number of final versions, based on the existing template structure. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of data through a rigorous quality control (QC) process.
Responsibilities:
Data Consolidation:
Gather and consolidate marketing data from various sources, including copy and image links, into a centralized spreadsheet.
Ensure data accuracy and completeness during the consolidation process.
Quality Control (QC):
Brief Analysis:
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with account managers, to gather necessary information and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Documentation and Workflows:
- Maintain detailed documentation of the data consolidation process, QC procedures, and any changes made to the spreadsheets. Document project status in project management software (Workfront) and facilitate asset handoff to Digital Asset Management and/or Workflow tools.
Continuous Improvement:
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience as a data engineer, data analyst, or similar role.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to understand marketing briefs and translate them into assets.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
