To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • At least 7 years of experience in precision machining
  • In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company's "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position.

As a Development Manufacturing Technician, you will:

  • Create, build, produce, rework, and repair tooling and fixturing as well as the develop prototype, R&D and production hardware in the form of piece parts, components or assemblies.
  • Be involved in planning, fixturing and layout of the job; including creating and editing CNC programs as necessary, which involves establishing extremely close tolerances, critical surfaces, and finishes.
  • Be responsible for the inspection and quality of all work performed and accuracy of programming efforts.
  • Participate in the transition of development/prototype hardware and processes to production to internal operations.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $32.00-$45.00 Hourly

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
