Together, we provide high quality care to diverse individuals and families, regardless of ability to pay. Responsibilities:Provides direct leadership to the LPN desk nurses and MA support team including daily oversight, on-boarding of new employees, and department schedulingMaintains a cooperative relationship among health care team by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport and participating in team problem solving methodsCollaborates and successfully carries out, with the other nursing supervisors, recruitment, scheduling, training, development, coaching, performance appraisals, and, when necessary, progressive discipline of nursing staff to allow for a cohesive nursing teamDevelops, maintains and holds nursing department staff accountable to training protocols for all positions within the nursing departmentMaintains nursing job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; plan, monitor, and appraise job resultsIntercedes to support patients in clinical issues and complaints as soon as able; assists in de-escalating, documenting, and supporting resolutionFunctions as a Licensed Practical Nurse in direct patient careRequirements:Graduated from an accredited nursing schoolFive years of nursing experience, minimumMust possess a current NYS LPN licenseMust have current CPR certificationExceptional attention to detail and follow-throughSuperb organizational skillsStrong influencing skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work proactively and take initiativeResults-oriented; creative and persistent in accomplishing tasksSolutions-driven with a systems orientationHighly responsive, timely, accurate and thorough in follow-up and follow-throughHighly flexible, positive and results-oriented attitudeExcellent in managing shifting priorities and timelinesOutstanding project and time-management skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, comfortable using document management softwareProficiency in Adobe and database managementExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent judgment and discretionHourly Rate: $25.50 to $27.50 (based on a full-time, 40 hour work week).  Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position related components. This position offers a sign-on bonus for external hires, paid in installment's throughout the employee's successful first year of employment.Why Neighborhood?  There are many fantastic benefits to a career at Neighborhood. We offer a kind, diverse, team-based work environment with competitive compensation and potential bonus, as well as comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, life insurance, 403b match, health savings accounts, generous paid time off and loan forgiveness, if applicable.   Neighborhood Health Center is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to the practice of equity and inclusion.
