Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior .NET Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET development, SQL Server, and experience with ETL processes and SSIS packages. While the primary focus will be on backend development, there is potential for frontend work. Experience with Azure is a significant plus as we are migrating to an Azure-based platform.

Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using .NET.
Design, implement, and manage ETL processes and SSIS packages.
Work with SQL Server to perform complex queries and database management.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain APIs for pricing data and rates for various products.
Participate in the migration of existing systems to an Azure-based platform.
Solve complex problems and provide innovative solutions.
Interact with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Potentially engage in frontend development if required by the project.
Education and Experience Required:
Minimum of an Associate’s degree and 6 years’ systems analysis/application development experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 8 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 6 years’ systems analysis/application development experience
Strong experience with .NET development.
Proficiency in SQL Server, including complex queries and database management.
Experience with ETL processes and SSIS packages.
Education and Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of Azure is highly desirable.
Understanding of Consumer Deposits and Products and Pricing Catalog (PPC) is a plus.
Familiarity with web applications and API development.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders.
Significant experience with Azure-based migrations.
Experience working with third-party catalogs.
Background in financial services or similar industries.
M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $110,635.01 - $184,391.68 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
