[HEAVY EQUIPMENT[MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC

[Panther Enterprises (Quarry) is currently seeking an experienced individual to fill a position as a[HEAVY EQUIPMENT[MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC[in Buffalo Valley, Tennessee, which is located west of Cookeville, Tennessee.

[This role requires previous experience as a mechanic working on heavy equipment. The role will be responsible for performing repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections on a wide variety of limestone aggregate related heavy equipment. The applicant must have a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair a wide range of service issues that affect major components such as engines, brake systems, transmissions, torque converters, hydraulic systems, drive train components, heating/cooling and electrical systems, belts, rollers, wipers, as well as other systems generally encountered in the industry. • Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• Minimum of three year of experience working on heavy equipment.
• Perform heavy or major maintenance repairs as needed.
• Perform routine scheduled maintenance on heavy equipment and trucks.
• Complete maintenance and work order repair records.
• Inspect machines for abnormalities or defects.
• Be able to weld and fabricate, as needed.
• Heavy equipment parts familiarization including parts catalogs, procurement, handling, storage, and cost of heavy equipment parts.
• Perform housekeeping duties and work area checks.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment.
• Capable of working with limited supervision and scheduling own work.
• Weekend work/overtime may be required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
