The Medium in downtown Burlington is seeking a customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a part-time Associate. This role encompasses customer service, sales, and hands-on framing work within our retail environment.
Shift: Daytime hours of approximately 16-24 hours per week
Hourly wage: $15/hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable framing options.
- Provide accurate product information and pricing.
- Close sales transactions efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer experience.
- Utilize framing tools and equipment to assemble custom frames according to customer specifications.
- Cut and assemble frame components with precision and attention to detail.
- Ensure quality control standards are met for all framing projects.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales and customer service preferred.
- Must be able to use a tape measure
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and measuring materials.
