Job Title: Mechanical DesignerJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer with experience in machine design and machining practices to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks, and a strong understanding of electrical components, motor sizing, and bearing sizing/fits.
Responsibilities
Design machinery and ensure familiarity with machining practices.
Utilize AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks for design work.
Understand and apply knowledge of electrical components, motor sizing, and bearing sizing/fits.
Collaborate with other engineers and departments to ensure seamless integration of designs.
Provide technical support and guidance during equipment startup and evaluation phases.
Possibility for some field work on equipment startups and evaluations, though not immediately.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of experience in mechanical design.
Expertise in AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in mechanical design software and tools.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay and Benefits
