Engineer to designs and develops new components and products, and
product improvements in the design and manufacturing of custom service

technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques,
materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations that
affect long range plant and product engineering planning. Analyzes,
evaluates, and recommends cost improvement ideas through product,
vendor, and design changes. Reviews special service vehicle
specifications prior to preconstruction meetings with the customer to
advise Product Manager and Sales Associates of any technical or design
concerns. Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software and
equipment to perform engineering and design tasks. Prepares estimates of
development costs and implements the product design within the schedule
and budget parameters. Maintains a working knowledge of new
developments, techniques, and products in the industry. ***** OTHER
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have these
qualifications: Bachelors\' degree from a four-year college or
university; or one to two years of related experience and/ or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be
mechanically inclined with experience in automotive and/or vehicles
systems. Strong working knowledge of CAD and Solidworks as well as
general office software. Good communication skills, strong
organizational skills, and the ability to work with a variety of people
