JOB REQUIREMENTS: SUMMARY: Have you ever thought about working with
paper and envelopes? How about being in a specialized department where
you are responsible for adding custom processes to envelopes. We are
seeking a detail-oriented candidate for our Butler, Wisconsin facility
just minutes from Milwaukee. A Setup Operator is responsible for setting
up and operating value-added machines. WHY CHOOSE WESTERN STATES? In
addition to using your mechanical abilities on a daily basis, you will
have the opportunity to earn raises every 90 days until top rate is
reached and a sign on bonus of \$2,000 payable within the first year of
employment. 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift are available with a shift premium of
\$.40/hour and \$.65/hour respectively. Training will take place on 1st
shift (6:30am 2:30pm) and eventually transition to the permanent shift.
WHAT DOES MY WORKDAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE? Examines work order to
determine specifications and sample verification. Sets up machine per
sample and order jacket specifications. Inspects product quality
according to quality guidelines. Maintains accurate counts of envelopes
to boxes, cartons, and skids. Adjusts machine and packs envelopes
uniformly and neatly, keeping up with the machine speed. Checks order
properly throughout the course of production to ensure accurate
labeling, printing, and packaging of product. Assists with removing
paper jams and preventative maintenance when scheduled. Transports
finished goods to appropriate area. Ability to fill in as the Material
Handler. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent
Mechanical Ability Manual dexterity Strong initiative Team player
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and/or 25 lbs. regularly
during an eight-hour shift. Ability to stand for approximately 60% of
the time during an eight-hour shift. Occasionally required to sit,
climb, stoop, kneel or crouch during an eight-hour shift. Ability to
add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole
numbers, common fractions and decimals is required. Ability to read a
ruler. Preferred Qualifications: Prior Manufacturing experience
