The position's start date is August 16, 2024. A Ph.D. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field is required at the time of hiring for the assistant profession level. An MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field is required at the time of hiring for the instructor level. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate software engineering and computer science courses, developing and maintaining an externally funded research program (assistant professor level only), and providing service to the department, college, and the university.
