The Director will provide oversight for all staff, operations, and strategic planning within the Student Union and will cultivate an environment that enhances the student experience and sense of belonging.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. • Demonstrated experience and ability to mentor, supervise, and lead a team. • One or more years of employment experience in a college student union, housing/residence life department, or related department within a higher education setting. • Demonstrated ability to creatively plan, organize, and execute events. • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Master’s degree in student affairs/higher education or related field. • Ability to demonstrate genuine empathy and care for students, their challenges, and their success.
