This position offers:
Starting pay of $23.00/hr. up to top pay of $30.47/hr.*
Quarterly gainsharing bonus potential

What You Drive at DTNA
Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including: repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures
Provide work direction and assist 4 Cycle Engine Build, Dyno, Quality Gate and Shipping team members to meet objectives.
Communicate company objectives and goals in a positive manner
Update TIP boards
Protect company equipment, tools, interest and employees
Identify and support correction in regards to safety, quality, and performance issues
Collaboration with Cycle Count Team
Use of Navision & Kanban for parts movement
Assist with documentation and form development- Write and edit work station instructions
Assist supervisor with other duties as assigned
High level of analytical and problem solving skills
Engine build, Navision and/or shipping experience preferred
Working knowledge of specific work areas
Possess good communication (both oral and written) skills
Computer skills are required( Outlook, Word, Excel, Navision, Powerpoint)
Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput
Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy
Operate the following tools and equipment: hand tools, hoist, pallet jack, forklift, gauges, torque equipment etc...
Knowledge You Should Bring
Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools
Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 45 pounds.
Must maintain a clean work area.
Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures
Cross train on other jobs as required (min 50% of entire area)
Forklift Certification Required (Including Stand Up)
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
Previous experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environment
Previous mechanical experience
Engine build, Navision and/or Shipping experience
Previous leadership experience preferred
High School Diploma / GED preferred and further college education a plus
Forklift Certification
Navision knowledge/experience
