AECOM’s Cairns Civil Infrastructure team has an opportunity for an experienced Civil Designer to join us in Far North Queensland. As part of this role, you will take a leading role in the delivery of municipal works projects, with a particular focus on water and sewerage designs and design co-ordination on multi-disciplinary projects. You will actively participate in and contribute to all technical aspects of small to major projects, utilising your technical knowledge and high attention to detail to develop and review drawings.
Our team is involved in the delivery of a wide range of projects from large scale water infrastructure projects through to, business as usual local government municipal infrastructure projects across FNQ. We have a keen focus on enabling digital capability which will assist you in further developing your knowledge and experience using 12D and other digital software.
As a result of the collaborative nature of our organisation you will have exposure to a wide range of projects, supporting both the local team as well as the wider QLD and on projects across the country. Your experience will be utilised in the review and verification of designs, drawings and quantity schedules within the office, further growing your project management capability.
Significant relevant work experience with a key attention to detail and focus on quality
BIM and 3D civil design experience
Demonstrated experience in Design Drafting on Civil related projects
Consulting experience will be highly regarded
Strong technical knowledge of design and drawing presentation standards
Strong team focus, willing to support other team members.
