What are my responsibilities?

  • Support preparation of the integrated test plan and the Integrated test procedures for System level documents developed by the System T&C Team

  • Manage the integration tests with the support of the Work Groups.

  • Validate all integrated tests, commission the integrated equipment, and compile the test reports.

  • Review test progress and report test status to the T&C Manager.

  • Follow up on the Test List status of the assigned Lots and coordinate with Scheduling team changes over integrated tests.

  • Ensure the availability of equipment and trains necessary for all scheduled tests.

  • Update and consolidate the test configuration at the system level.

  • Manage the test schedule on a day-to-day basis according to constraints and priorities. Receives all the test schedule-booking requests, consolidates, and informs the T&C Manager.

  • Interface with all the technical teams of the e-HSR project and coordinate with the TOT Team the readiness of all technical queries need to execute System Level Tests

  • Liaise with all internal and external LOTs Engineering and Testing & Commissioning teams in support of the T&C team.

  • Review and propose the test boundaries and the needed protective measures.

  • Ensure that the latest technical documentation is followed correctly while executing System Level Tests

  • Build & maintain a good and effective communication network with all involved internal and external parties.

  • Follow up on the T&C activities.

  • Attend the weekly LOT’s Of T&C meetings.

  • Work in close coordination with the TOT Interface Engineer

  • Ensure that all the System Level testing & commissioning work planning and the related permit to work applications and access requests discussed in the weekly works planning meetings are processed as per the T&C Sequence

  • Promote and implement the rules and procedures set forth in the track possession process, construction & commissioning rulebook, and commissioning manual.

  • Coordinate with the TOT interface Engineer to ensure the availability of the train and staff for approved System level related test works.

  • Coordinate with Customer Service in case failures in the system are found during the Trial Run period.

  • Follow the safety rules and all necessary procedures to ensure compliance during the implementation of the site incident response procedure.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Experience in the execution of Railway projects with Test management involvement.

  • 3 - 6 years of experience in Railway or Metro projects (preferably High Speed)

  • Operational Railway experience is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, logical and troubleshooting thinking.

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.

  • Good knowledge of MS Office application.

  • Knowledge of Overhead Catenary System.

  • Knowledge in High/Medium Voltage Traction Substations.

  • Knowledge of Supervisory Power Management SCADA System.

  • Knowledge of Safety Validation Process.

  • Knowledge of System Integration.

  • Knowledge of Static / Dynamic Test and Commissioning.

  • Knowledge in Construction & Commissioning Railway Management.
