We are looking for a bilingual advisor who will join a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment and be a key player in the heart of Human Resources (HR) Operational Services. You are driven to be highly motivated and work in an open, team environment employing a collaborative and continuous improvement mindset. In this temporary role, you will be the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders for general questions relating to our HR policies, processes and programs. You will ensure that our employees have a central place to go for inquiries regarding pay, pension, benefits, and other HR programs or policies. This collaborative customer focused position provides delightful HR support to all internal and external stakeholders.

You will use your expertise to:

  • Provide HR information and timely resolution to inquiries via email, chat and telephone

  • Troubleshoot and provide customer service support by using SAP transactions and other online tools in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Utilize a case management system to track all inquiries and transactions

  • Identify gaps in internal processes, procedures and documentation and recommend process improvements

  • Meet quality assurance requirements and other key performance metrics.

  • Participate in ongoing training and learning opportunities as well as special projects or initiatives

  • Act as an internal Subject Matter Expert on general HR programs, policies, processes, tools, and cycles

  • Refer external and internal inquiries to appropriate stakeholders as required

Must-haves (minimum requirements):

  • Bilingual (English and French) – please submit your resume in English

  • Three years of relevant work experience, preferably in a call centre environment

  • A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

  • An understanding of SAP, ServiceNow, Workday and Microsoft Office

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proven customer service orientation

  • A demonstrated professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers over the phone and chat

  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and non-authoritative leadership skills including an aptitude to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic and complex organization

  • The ability to resolve inquiries in an effective and timely manner while managing competing priorities and deadlines

  • Alignment with ourvalues: safety above all else, stronger together, operational discipline, curiosity and lifelong learning, and act with integrity

Preference for:

  • A post-secondary degree in Business or Human Resources

Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other important information:

  • You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6thAve S.W.

  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday

  • This is a temporary position for a period of twelve months
