WSP USA Junior Laboratory Data Coordinator in Calgary, Alberta

WSP is looking for a Junior Lab Data Coordinator to join our community of high performing engineers, scientists, and business professionals in one of the following offices: Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, London, Ottawa, St. Catherines, Montreal, Dartmouth.

As a Junior Lab Data Coordinator, you will contribute expertise in the following areas:

  • Self-started and self-motivated, being able to work with minimal supervision and collaborate with different teams, working with and supporting Project Managers and internal clients;

  • Produce high-quality written data reviews in support of large and small environmental site assessments, monitoring and remediation projects;

  • Update and maintain the EQuIS Professional database with environmental data from the laboratories; and

  • Upload, track and process emails from the laboratory in a timely fashion.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Diploma or degree in related field (Geoscience);

  • Experience with laboratory data;

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy;

  • Ability to multitask effectively and communicate efficiently;

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, both French and English preferred;

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook)

  • Experience with EQuIS Professional and/or Database will be an asset;

  • Sound understanding of the need for health and safety procedures in the workplace and possess a safety-conscious attitude; and

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and key judgment skills.
