In this exciting role as a Clinical Research Program Manager , you will be responsible for leading and managing various aspects of strategic and tactical implementation of programs/projects supporting the Mitral and Tricuspid clinical research programs. You will lead a diverse team of cross-functional partners in collaboration to develop best in class study support communications, programs, process, and other key initiatives related to study execution.
The Structural Heart and Aortic integrated operating unit offers minimally-invasive approaches to restore proper structure and function of the heart and the aorta. We focus on the transcatheter replacement or repair of the four heart valvesaortic, pulmonic, mitral, tricuspidand the placement of stent grafts to treat aneurysms and dissections of the bodys largest artery, the aorta.

A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Lead the development and execution of programs that support Mitral and Tricuspid clinical studies
Lead, direct and review work of a cross-functional team; exercise latitude and independence in their assignments. Direct involvement may be necessary for successful program execution
Identify process improvement/efficiency gains
Develop and implement strategies to support clinical investigational site needs, with eye towards study enrollment and timely product approval
Build and maintain strong network and close relationship with various internal and external parties
Provide input to establishing program objectives, milestones, and timelines
Innovative approach to problem solving; information gathering, analysis, and investigation to understand the issue. Lead workstreams to find solutions by influence and information exchange
Communicate and lead meetings with internal and external customers, vendors. Communicates and drives recommendations.
Must Have (Minimum Requirements):
To be considered for this role, the minimum requirements must be evident on your resume.
- Bachelors degree required with a minimum of 5 years of clinical research with project/program management experience or skills, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of clinical research project/program management experience or skills
Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications):
Advanced degree in engineering, life sciences, or related medical/scientific field
Clinical research/ Clinical trials experience at Medtronic or within the medical device industry
Excellent program/project management and organizational skills. Expertise in both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.Process improvement experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP), Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt; PMP/RMP certification; Project Management Certification (preferably PMI) and/or Green Belt Certification.
Experience in Cardiovascular (Structural Heart, Aortic) products/therapies
Product support and/or experience with physician customers
