This position Reports to the Group Reporting Director.

The position will collaborate with wider group accounting, business finance teams, Entity financial controllers and regional heads of finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the preparation of the AVEVA group consolidated results for monthly internal reporting and group reporting to Schneider Electric in line with the group reporting timetable:

Full actual reporting package to Schneider (IS and BS including movements)​

Cashflow reporting ​

Additional disclosure reporting as required by Schneider phased closing

This position Reports to the Group Reporting Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the preparation of the AVEVA group consolidated results for monthly internal reporting and group reporting to Schneider Electric in line with the group reporting timetable:

  • Full actual reporting package to Schneider (IS and BS including movements)​ Cashflow reporting ​

  • Additional disclosure reporting as required by Schneider phased closing timetable

  • Working closely with the finance operations team, regional heads of finance and internal audit to improve processes and controls around the financial reporting close, including: system validations; HFM access and locking controls; automation; reconciliations; review processes; and change management.

  • Support alignment activities between Schneider and AVEVA for all financial reporting requirements.

  • Supporting the external audit process, interacting with the audit team, and providing relevant documentation

  • Supporting the Group Accounting team objectives in consolidating group financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards and making sure that the consolidated adjustments are calculated accurately and documented to an auditable standard

  • Implement new structures, processes and controls that drive operational effectiveness in the organisation, balancing the need for accuracy, timeliness and control.

Required Skills:

  • Accounting Qualification or similar

  • +5yr post qualification experience (preferably in a multinational organisation)

  • Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards

  • Experienced in consolidation accounting

  • Experience of implementing systems and/or process change

  • Able to comply with documented processes and procedures

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Organised and able to manage time and meet deadlines.

  • Self starter and attention to deal with good communications skills
