Discover Impactful Work:

Join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team as a Mid-Level Software Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our advanced data warehouse product. Our system is designed to streamline the ingestion and organization of diverse data sources into a standardized data model, aiding internal stakeholders in their analytics endeavors. We leverage a robust AWS infrastructure, including Redshift, Lambda functions, Docker Containers, PostgreSQL databases and other common AWS architectural components

A day in the Life:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and systems.

• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure software reliability and performance.

• Lead the development and execution of test plans and QA processes.

• Coordinate and manage software releases, ensuring timely delivery and integration.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enhancing our deployment strategies and minimizing downtime.

• Manage GitHub Actions for automation of code integration and deployment processes.

• Employ ETL best practices to optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

• Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and database engineers to ensure high-quality outputs.

• Document testing phases and defects, assist in troubleshooting, and provide detailed feedback for continuous improvement.

Keys to Success:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field highly preferred. Combination of years of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in software development with a focus on QA and automated testing.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Proficient in SQL and Python.

• Strong experience with AWS services including Redshift, Lambda, and Container management.

• Experience in managing PostgreSQL databases.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline development, including experience with GitHub Actions.

• Knowledge of ETL processes and best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
